Clayton Failla will be staying with Hibernians until the end of season 2018/19 after signing a five-year deal with the club. This as announced in a statement by Hibernians FC.
A product of St. Patrick, Failla joined Hibernians in 2005 but after winning the Premier League title and the Footballer of the Year award in season 2008/09, he moved to Sliema Wanderers. Failla spent two years with the Blues before returning with the Paolites in 2011.
General Manager Ranier Bezzina led the negotiations on the renewing of the contract with Clayton Failla who was reportedly attracting the interest of both Valletta and Birkirkara.
The club wished him success for the rest of his career.
