Brazilian striker Jorge Santos Silva will be staying with Tarxien Rainbows after agreeing a deal until the end of season .

Jorge Santos Silva joined the Rainbows last summer. He arrived in Malta in summer 2010 to join Vittoriosa Stars. The following season, he moved to Sliema Wanderers but mid-way through the season, he was transferred to Birkirkara. He left the Stripes in July 2012 after playing for them in the UEFA Europa League to join Atletico Paranaense but eventually joined América-RN.

So far, the club has signed goalkeepers Sean Cini from Vittoriosa Stars and Jonathan Debono from Mqabba and defenders Alex Cini and Kane Farrugia from Mosta. They lost goalkeeper Nicky Vella to Valletta and loaned Daniel Mariano Bueno to Mosta while goalkeeper David Cassar is expected to re-join Pietà Hotspurs.
