After impressing in their first outing, Hibernians and Mosta will be aiming for a second win as they take on Qormi and Pietà Hotspurs respectively in the two matches in programme at the National Stadium on Sunday.
Pietà Hotspurs vs Mosta, kick-off 18:30 at National Stadium
After beating Valletta 1-0 in their first game, Mosta will be hoping to collect another three points against a team which did quite well in its first outing despite a defeat. Pietà, on the other hand, will be chasing their first points of the season.
Pietà will be without the suspended Rafael Xavier but Argentine midfielder Claudio Frances is set to make his debut. Mosta, on the other hand, secured the services of Portuguese midfielder Fabio Paim and Mexican goalkeeper Marcos Bernal.
Hibernians vs Qormi, kick-off 20:30 at National Stadium
Veteran goalkeeper Mario Muscat is set to make his final Premier League appearance for Hibernians to establish a new record of 500 league appearances, spread over twenty-one years at the club, apart from a short spell with Vittoriosa last season.
The Paolites defeated Floriana 3-0 last week and now seek a second consecutive win to mark this occasion.
Qormi defeated Naxxar Lions 1-0 last week and aim for another positive result from this clash.
Ghanaian midfielder Albert Bruce is expected to make his debut for Qormi.
