Jean Paul Farrugia will be playing in the Slovak Super Liga this season after agreeing a deal with Spartak Trnava.
Farrugia left a good impression with Spartak Trnava in the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round as they cruised past Hibernians with a 9-2 aggregate score.
The twenty-two year old striker made his Premier League debut with Hibernians in season 2008/09 and has been playing for the Paolites since then apart from a one-year loan spell with Marsaxlokk in season 2011/12. Injuries ruled him out for most of seasons 2009/10 and 2010/11.
Farrugia played for all youth national teams and made his senior national team debut last June against Gibraltar.
