BOV Premier League leaders Hibernians will be aiming for a fifth consecutive win as they take on Pietà Hotspurs in one of the four matches in programme on Saturday.
Birkirkara hope to return to winning ways as they face Qormi, Tarxien Rainbows aim at extending their unbeaten record as they take on Naxxar Lions while Floriana meet Zebbug Rangers.
Tarxien Rainbows vs Naxxar Lions, kick-off 16:00 at National Stadium
After obtaining four draws in the first four matches, Tarxien Rainbows hope to do something better in the game against Naxxar Lions. They held Sliema and Valletta, Pietà and Zebbug. Naxxar, on the other hand, drew two and lost two and are coming from a draw with neighbours Mosta in the derby. They are therefore chasing their first win.
Naxxar coach Winston Muscat could not count on the injured David Fenech and Sidney da Silva while Clive Mizzi should have the full Tarxien squad at his disposal.
Qormi vs Birkirkara, kick-off 18:00 at National Stadium
After losing to Balzan 3-2 last week, Birkirkara hope to bounce back with a win over Qormi. Qormi, on the other hand, collected just one point from the last three matches after losing to Hibs and Balzan and a draw with Sliema.
Gareth Sciberras and Edmond Agius are still recovering from injuries for Birkirkara. Qormi, on the other hand, will be without Mauricio Mazzetti.
Floriana vs Zebbug Rangers, kick-off 16:00 at Victor Tedesco Stadium
After beating Pietà Hotspurs 3-1 last week, Floriana will be aiming for a second consecutive win as they take on another newly-promoted side, Zebbug Rangers. The Rangers, on the other hand, seek another positive result after earning their first point in a 3-3 draw with Tarxien last week.
Both coaches are expected to have the full squad at their disposal.
Hibernians vs Pietà Hotspurs, kick-off 18:15 at Victor Tedesco Stadium
Following wins over Floriana, Qormi, Sliema and Valletta, Hibernians will be aiming for a fifth win in a row as they take on Pietà Hotspurs. THe Hotspurs, on the other, lost three of the four matches played, earning the only point in a draw with Tarxien.
Serbian defensive midfielder Nikola Tasic, formerly of Balzan, is set to make his debut for Pietà Hotspurs.
