After collecting just one point from the first four matches, Siggiewi registered their first win as they beat Zejtun Corinthians 3-2 in a match from the BOV Second Division on Thursday.
Siggiewi forged ahead courtesy of a Kim Buhagiar goal on the 31st minute. Neil Tabone levelled matters for Zejtun on the 70th but Siggiewi were quick to make it 2-1 thanks to Jason Camilleri one minute later. Ryan Sell restored equilibrium on the 78th but two minutes from time, Stephane Tape made it 3-2 for Siggiewi.
Hamrun lead the way with 12 points, followed by Gharghur on 10, Senglea and San Gwann 9, Swieqi, Marsa and Mellieha 7, Zabbar 5, Zejtun and Siggiewi 4, Ghaxaq, Sirens and Dingli 3, Xghajra 0.
