Fourteen clubs from the BOV First Division, another fourteen from the BOV Second Division, six from the BOV Third Division and six from Gozo will be seeking a place in the third round of the FA Trophy as the second round of the competition will be played this weekend.
There are only two clashes between teams from the BOV First Division – St. George’s vs St. Andrews and Pembroke Athleta vs Rabat Ajax but other games to watch out for are those between BOV Second Division promotion hopefuls leaders Hamrun Spartans and First Division side Vittoriosa Stars and promotion hopefuls Senglea Athletic from Division 2 and Mqabba from Division 1.
The twenty teams who qualify from this stage will be joining holders Valletta and the other eleven Premier League sides in the third round of the competition which will be played between November 28 and December 3.
