Raiders (Luxol) striker Emma Xuereb is the BOV Female Player of the Month for November 2014. The captain of the newly formed Raiders Luxol Team had a remarkable month both on and off the field where she graduated as a physio-therapist and was also the best performer on the pitch.

The Gozitan winger, known for her speed and blistering runs through opponent’s defence is a focusing point in the Raiders’ forward actions and has scored four goals in her team’s three victories during November, to secure the third position in the BOV Women’s League table.

Emma, who travels to and from Gozo 4 times a week personifies dedication and successfully combines her sport and studies with effective time-management, an example to all her team-mates.

Priscilla Attard, Manager of Bank of Valletta’s ta’ l-Ibrag Branch presented the BOV Female Player of the Month trophy for November 2014 to Emma Xuereb.
