Mosta were the first team to reach the quarter-finals of the FA Trophy after defeating First Division side Gzira United 4-1 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Tuesday.
Gary Roberts put the Blues ahead on the 31st minute and eleven minutes in the second half, Mateus Ribeiro dos Santos doubled the score. Moises Avila Perez converted a penalty on 61 minutes to reduce the gap for the Maroons but Mosta increased the lead once again through Gary Roberts on the 84th minute and Nemanja Milovanovic sealed the issue with a fourth goal on the 92nd minute.
Andorran international Sergio Moreno Marin was sent off for Gzira two minutes in added time.
