Second Division side Sirens registered a major surprise in the fourth round of the FA Trophy as they defeated BOV First Division leaders Gudja United with a most unexpected 6-0 score at the Centenary Stadium.
Balzan registered a similar 6-0 win while a penalty gave Pietà Hotspurs a narrow win over Victoria Hotspurs.
At the Centenary Stadium, Daniel Cremona put Sirens ahead on 16 minutes. Ryan Sciberras doubled the score on 29 minutes while Lee Joe Schembri added another on 35 minutes. Lee Joe Schembri scored a fourth goal six minutes in the second half. Ryan Sciberras made it 5-0 on the 70th and three minutes from time, Clifford Obinwanne sealed the issue with a sixth goal.

New signing Bojan Kaljevic was the hero for Balzan as they defeated Second Division side Zabbar St. Patrick 6-0 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.
Ryan Darmanin put Balzan ahaead on the 14th minute and new signing Bojan Kaljevic, who was making his debut after serving a three-match ban, doubled the score two minutes later.
Bojan Kaljevic completed a hat-trick with two goals on 53 and 55 minutes. Oscar Guerrero made it 5-0 on 66 minutes and Kaljevic added another on 71 minutes.

Meanwhile a penalty by Jurgen Pisani on the 22nd minute enabled Pietà Hotspurs to beat Gozitan side Victoria Hotspurs 1-0 at the Gozo Stadium.
