Valletta completed the signing of three foreign players, namely Montenegrin attacking midfielder Vladimir Savicevic, Nigerian midfielder Ikenna Paul Hillary and Dutch striker Djamel Leeflang.

Savicevic, son of former Yugoslav international and now president of the Montenegrin Football Association Dejan Savicevic, started his career with FK Srem and then played for Sloga Kraljevo and FK Mladost Podgorica.

Ikenna Hillary, who is a Nigerian international, played for AD Camacha in the Portuguese third division, joining them from Sunshine Stars of Nigeria this summer.

On the other hand, Djamel Leeflang played third and fourth division football for VV Haaglandia in the Netherlands.
