Malta international midfielder Rowen Muscat re-joined Birkirkara after a five-month spell with Hungarian top division side Dunaújváros PASE.

A product of Birkirkara, Muscat made his Premier League debut in season 2009/10. He won two championships with the Stripes in season 2009/10 and 2012/13.

In Hungary, he played seven league matches. Muscat scored one goal in two appearances in the Hungarian League Cup.
