A goal by Keeva Camilleri on 32 minutes gave the Malta girls’ Under-15 national team a narrow win over Romania in the first of two friendly matches between the two countries at the Centenary Stadium.
Camilleri scored the all-important goal on the 32nd minute when she received a through pass by Kathryn Ellul and beat the Romanian goalkeeper.
The team led by Dorianne Theuma will play a second game against Romania on Wednesday at 18:00.
