A new logo for the APS Bank Under-15 and Under-17 Leagues was launched on Monday when the draws for the leagues for 2015/16 organised by the Youth Footbal Association were held at the Centenary Hall.
APS Bank Marketing Manager Patrick Aquilina launched the new logo which will be used for the APS Bank Under-15 and Under-17 Leagues.
These draws covered the preliminary rounds and the qualifying groups, which will determine in which section each nursery will compete, similarly to last season’s campaign.
The Youth FA President, appealed to all those present to embrace this format, which aims to ensures that each nursery plays at its level, according to the current strength in the current season and not depending on the successes or otherwise of the previous squads. Fr. Hilary Tagliaferro finally thanked association’s leagues sponsors, APS Bank, who have become synonymous with youth football, the upcoming season being their eleventh consecutive season sponsored by them.
Joe Micallef and Alex Pace went on to explain in detail the format to the good number of committee members and head coaches present for the draws held at the Centenary Stadium, Ta’ Qali.
