The Hamrun Spartans Powerade Cup 2015 kicks-off on Monday with the first two matches as hosts Hamrun Spartans defeated Gzira United and Senglea Athletic beat Pietà Hotspurs.

The Spartans beat Gzira 3-2 thanks to goals by Orosco Anonam, Martin Hrubsa and Alan Tabone with Gabriel Aquilina and Moises Avila Perez scoring for the Maroons.

In the other match, a goal by Jurgen Farrugia gave Senglea a narrow win over Pietà.

On Wednesday, Pietà take on Gzira at 19:00 while Hamrun Spartans face Senglea at 21:00.
