Cameroonian striker Raphael Alain Kooh Sohna notched a hat-trick as Gzira United defeated Melita 3-0 at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday. A win which puts the Maroons alone on top the BOV First Division table.

Kooh Sohna scored twice in five minutes between the 12th and the 17th, adding another on the 66th minute.

In another match, Rabat Ajax were held in a 1-1 draw by Mqabba.

Rabat took the lead eight minutes in the second half thanks to Chris Vella. However one minute in added time, Vagner Pereira Costa notched the equaliser for Mqabba.

Gzira lead the way with 9 points, followed by Senglea, Zebbug and Rabat on 7, Fgura, Pietà and Hamrun 4, Gudja, Lija, St. George’s and Melita 3, San Gwann 2, Vittoriosa and Mqabba 1.
