The Malta women’s national team defeated Estonia 3-0 in a second friendly match in Tallinn on Thursday.

Martina Borg put Malta ahead on the 15th minute. Five minutes in the second half, Brenda Borg doubled the score and Stephania Farrugia sealed the issue with a third goal on the 69th minute.

Malta coach Mark Gatt named the following players in the starting line-up: Janice Xuereb; Stephania Farrugia, Ylenia Carabott, Rachel Cuschieri, Martina Borg, Alishia Sultana, Antoinette Sammut, Shona Zammit, Jade Flask, Charlene Zammit, Brenda Borg.

In another friendly match on Tuesday, Malta and Estonia shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. Malta is now set to play another two friendly matches against Azerbaijan next month.
