Camenzuli puts Birkirkara back on track

A goal early in the second half enabled Birkirkara to return to winning ways as they defeated Tarxien Rainbows 1-0 and move once again two points behind the leaders.

The Rainbows, on the other hand, remain in sixth place after conceding a first defeat after four wins and a draw from the previous five matches.

Birkirkara lacked Paul Fenech but Joseph Zerafa was back after serving a one-match ban. Tarxien, on the other hand, could not count on the suspended Ebiabowei Baker.

The Stripes scored the all-important goal three minutes in the second half as Liliu served Ryan Camenzuli on the left and the latter slammed the ball past goalkeeper Andrea Cassar.
