Zebbug Rangers joined Pietà Hotspurs in third place in the BOV First Division as they came from behind to beat Melita 2-1 at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

Francois Guihard put Melita ahead on the 34th minute but six minutes later, Dario Tabone levelled matters for Zebbug with Omar Rababah notching the winner six minutes from time.

Gzira lead the way with 23 points, followed by Gzira on 20, Pietà and Zebbug 17, Senglea 16, Lija 15, Vittoriosa 14, Rabat 13, Melita 12, Fgura 11, St. George’s, Mqabba and San Gwann 6 and Gudja 4.
