Leaders Gzira United dropped two points as they were held in a goalless draw by Fgura United in a match from the BOV First Division at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

The Maroons are therefore still unbeaten after eleven matches but should Hamrun beat Melita on Sunday, the Spartans would move just one point behind them.

Gzira lead the way with 27 points, followed by Hamrun on 23, Pietà 20, Lija 18, Zebbug 17, Senglea and Rabat 16, Vittoriosa 15, Melita and Fgura 12, St. George’s 7, Mqabba and San Gwann 6 and Gudja 4.
