Hibernians extended their positive run in the BOV Premier League to eleven matches as they defeated Mosta 3-0 to move back in second place.
For Mosta, on the other hand, this was the third defeat in five matches.
Hibs forged ahead on the half-hour thanks to Bjorn Kristensen whose rising shot from outside the area following a good move between Dias and Cohen saw the ball hit the crossbar before ending at the back of the net.
Five minutes from time, Hibs doubled the score thanks to Gilmar da Silva Ribeiro, who received a through pass on the left by Jorginho, advanced into the area before hitting low past Omar Borg.
But the game was not over yet as just past the 90th minute there was a long clearacne by the Hibs defence and Jorge da Silva Pereira pounced on the ball, advanced all alone and ran past goalkeeper Omar Borg before placing the ball inside the empty net.
