Marsa suffered a setback in the race for the BOV Second Division title as they lost 0-2 to Siggiewi at the Luxol Stadium on Friday.

Charles Nnaemeka put Siggiewi ahead seven minutes in the second half and Mark Camilleri doubled the score on the 72nd minute.

Gharghur lead the way with 50 points, followed by Marsa on 48, Sirens 47, Zabbar 39, Siggiewi 38, Mgarr 33, Zejtun 31, Birzebbuga 30, Qrendi 28, Mellieha 26, Swieqi and Kirkop 19, Zurrieq 13 and Msida 5.
