For the second year in succession, Hibernians made a clean sweep of honours in women’s football after winning the BOV Women’s Super Cup, the BOV Women’s First Division championship and the Women’s Knock-Out. In fact, the Paolites defeated Raiders (Luxol) 2-0 in the final of the Women’s Knock-Out on Tuesday.
Jade Flask put Hibernians ahead two minutes from half-time and Ylenia Carabott doubled the score three minutes from time to seal the issue.
After the game, Hibs captain Dione Tonna was presented with the cup by Director of Women’s Football Pierre Brincat.
