Hibernians part ways with Branko Nisevic

Hibernians FC announced that they have reached an agreement with coach Branko Nisevic over the termination of his contract.

Nisevic had joined the Paolites in 2013, winning the championship in 2014/15 and the BOV Super Cup in 2015.

He moved to Malta in season 2000/01 to join Hibernians as a player. He left the Paolites at the end of season 2003/04, joining Pietà Hotspurs but in the January transfer window, he moved to Valletta. After two years with the Citizens, Nisevic joined Sliema Wanderers where he spent two years. The following season, he joined Birkirkara as assistant coach to Paul Zammit. However he eventually signed a one-year contract as a player as well. He spent another year as assistant coach with Birkirkara before joining the MFA Technical Centre where he was the coach of the Under-19 national team and assistant coach to the senior side.

In a short statement, the club thanked Nisevic for the services rendered to the club over the past three years and wished him success for the future.
