Birkirkara and Malta Under-21 midfielder Ryan Camenzuli joined Floriana on a one-year loan.
Until last season, Camenzuli featured regularly in the starting line-up for Birkirkara but this summer, he only made one start in the UEFA Europa League and was included twice as substitute. A product of the club, he made his Premier League debut in season 2010/11.
Camenzuli, who is still an Under-21 international, made his senior national team debut last year in a friendly match agaisnt Georgia.
The Greens have also secured the services of Argentine striker Ignacio Lucas Varela.
The twenty-six year old played for Ferro Carril Oeste, Colegiales, Sarmiento, Justo José de Urquiza, Sacachispas and Deportivo Morón in Argentina, Llaneros F.C. in Colombia, Derthona F.B.C in Italy and NK Istra 1961 in Croatia.
Meanwhile Matteo Piciollo has been loaned to Balzan. Piciollo spent the last two years in Malta with Floriana, scoring fifteen in his first season and eight in the second.
