After defeating Birkirkara in their last game, bottom-placed Pembroke Athleta earned another point as they held Tarxien Rainbows in a 1-1 draw at the National Stadium on Saturday.
For the Rainbows, it was a disappointing result after losing to Sliema Wanderers in their last outing.
Both teams had one change from their last outing as Luke Montebello replaced Jhonathan Bernardo Mariano for Pembroke while Eloy Edu Nkene replaced Matthew Tabone for Tarxien.
Pembroke managed to take the lead on the 20th when off a cross from the right by Brandon Muscat, Asani Djeljilj hit home past goalkeeper Andrea Cassar.
Tarxien levelled matters five minutes from the end of the first half when off a Triston Caruana corner from the right, Ebiabowei Baker headed the ball home.
The Rainbows forged ahead on the 66th minute when off an assist by Alex da Paixao Alves from the right, Daniel Ponce de Leon Garcia beat Calleja Cremona.
However one minute from time, Pembroke equalised when off a freekick from the right by Mateus Regis da Silva, Zoran Levnaic headed home from close range.
