The Malta national team arrived in London on Thursday morning ahead of Saturday’s European Qualifier against England in programme at Wembley Stadium, kick-off at 18:00 CET.
The team held its first training session at the Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre.
The players who made the trip to London are:
goalkeepers Andrew Hogg (Hibs), Henry Bonello (Valletta);
defenders Andrei Agius (Hibs), Steve Borg (Valletta), Ryan Camilleri (Valletta), Jonathan Caruana (Valletta), Clayton Failla (Hibs), Zach Muscat (Arezzo), Alex Muscat (Sliema), Joseph Zerafa (Birkirkara);
midfielders Paul Fenech (Balzan), Bjorn Kristensen (Hibs), Mark Scerri (Sliema), Gareth Sciberras (Birkirkara), Rowen Muscat (Birkirkara), Ryan Scicluna (Birkirkara), Steve Pisani (Floriana);
forwards Michael Mifsud (Valletta), Jean Paul Farrugia (Sliema), Alfred Effiong (Balzan), Andre Schembri (Boavista).
The contingent will then travel to Vilnius where Malta will be meeting Lithuania in another World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.
Jonathan Caruana is only eligible to play against Lithuania as he serves a one-match ban.
