Former Malta international midfielder Shaun Bajada will be returning back to Gozo just six months after signing a one-year deal with Birkirkara after the Stripes reached an agreement with Xewkija Tigers.
Bajada made his Premier League debut with Floriana in season 2000/01. He moved to Marsaxlokk mid-way through season 2004/05 but spent the second part of season 2006/07 on loan with Msida St. Joseph. The following summer, he was transferred to Birkirkara.
Shaun Bajada joined Valletta in summer 2012, signing a five-year deal. He spent the latter part of season 2012/13 on loan with Sliema Wanderers. In summer 2015, he left the Citizens to join Ghajnsielem in Gozo, helping them to win the championship in his dual role as player-coach.
