Malta international winger Luke Gambin joined Luton Town from Barnet for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old has agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2018-19 season, with the club having an option to extend it for a further year.
Gambin made 23 appearances for Barnet this season, scoring four goals, the last in a 3-1 defeat at Luton on New Year’s Eve. He had joined the Bees as an apprentice in 2009, helping them win the 2014-15 Conference title. In 136 appearances for Barnet, he scored 15 goals.
The Hatters are currently sixth in League Two, six points off the automatic promotion places.
