Under-19 side loses to the Netherlands

Malta lost 0-3 to host Netherlands in a match from Group 4 of the UEFA Under-19 qualifying round mini-tournament at the Sportpark Juliana in ‘s-Gravenzande on Thursday.

Ferdi Kadioglu scored twice in a minute between the 24th and 25th to give the Netherlands a two-goal lead with Joël Piroe converting a penalty three minutes from time.

Malta will be in action once again on Saturday against Slovenia.
