Hamrun Tre Angeli and the University of Malta in a 7-7 draw in this week’s big match from the Gatorade Futsal League.

In the first half, the Universitarians gained a 6-3 lead but Hamrun made a good comeback to earn a point in a 7-7 draw. The Universitarians found the net through Rodney Debono, Mamadou Diaby twice, Leo Muscat, Shawn Deguara, Gary Inguanez and Jose Maria Aguillera Castellano. On the other hand, Aleksander Tomin, a poker by Everton Da Silva Santos, Clive Calleja and Luke Stivala from a penalty, scored for Hamrun.

Luxol and Marsaskala both returned to winning ways. Luxol dominated Qormi scoring eleven goals without any reply, while Marsaskala defeated Swieqi United U21 5-1. Mriehel ESS registered a most comfortable 10-1 over Junior College while Valletta continued to impress with a seventh consecutive win, beating Tarxien JMI 10-0. On the other hand, Swieqi United joined Pietà Nordiska in third place after beating them 5-1.
