Birkirkara signed Croatian central defender Arian Mrsulja. The twenty-year old joins the Stripes on a one-year deal.

Mrsulja started his career at HNK Rijeka and then played for Istra 1961 before moving to Italy to join Mezzolara where he spent the last two years.

The Stripes were one of the most active clubs so far with the signing of Uchenna Calistus Umeh, Marcelo de Siqueira, Eduardo dos Santos, Paul Fenech, Terence Agius, Michael Mifsud and the confirmation of Kristijan Naumovski and Mislav Andjelkovic.
