Hamrun Spartans sign Italian forward

Hamrun Spartans continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of veteran Italian striker Massimo Ganci.

The thirty-six year old striker started his career at Monza but then played for Treviso, Reggina, Piacenza, Bari, Cittadella, Salernitana, Pescara, Frosinone, Maceratese, Castelfidaro, L’Aquila, Pineto and Pavia. Throughout his career, he played at all levels from the Serie A to the Serie D.

Hamrun, now led by coach Giovanni Tedesco, had earlier secured the services of Enrico Pepe, Antonio Monticelli, Sebastian Nayar, Caetano Prósperi Calil, Kevin Tulimieri, Gaetano Gallina, Walter Ruben Acuna, Francesco Marra, Njongo Lobe Priso Doding, Jorge Nicolás Pandiani Quaglia, Samuele Romeo, Carlos Hernan Henneberg, Orestis Nikolopoulos, Pietro Viggiani, Conor Borg, Matthew Gauci, Ryan Darmanin and goalkeeper Manuel Bartolo.
