Senglea Athletic secured the services of Brazilian winger Marcelo Dias.

The thirty-three year old spent the last eight years playing with Hibernians, apart from a six-month spell with Al Ahed of Lebanon in the latter part of season 2013/14. Dias had started his career at Águia de Marabá FC in Brazil.

Earlier this month, Senglea had appointed Mario Muscat and Steven Vella as their coaches.

Vincenzo Potenza left the club to join Floriana. Also joining Floriana were three of their foreigners, namely Matias Nicolas Garcia, Francisco Diego Venancio da Silva and Augusto Rene Caseres.
