Balzan lose narrowly in Slovenia

Balzan were eliminated from the UEFA Europa League after losing 1-0 to Domžale in the second leg of the first qualifying round at the Športni park in Domzale on Thursday. Balzan were eliminated with a 5-3 aggregate score.

In the second qualifying round, Domzale will be facing Malmö of Sweden.

Balzan coach Jacques Scerri made one change to the team which lost 3-4 at the Centenary Stadium last week as new signing Augustine Loof was preferred to Ricardo Calixto Correa Duarte.

Slobodan Vuk scored the all-important goal on the 21st minute
