More new signings for Senglea Athletic

Senglea Athletic continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of another five players, namely Dejan Debono from St. Andrews, David Xuereb and Connor Zammit from Hibernians, Sean Cipriott from Balzan and Brazilian José Wilkson Texeira Rocha.

Eighteen year old defender Dejan Debono joins the club on a permanent move. Twenty one year old midfielder David Xuereb and twenty year old defender Connor Zammit join the club on loan from the Paolites while twenty one year old midfielder Sean Cipriott joins the club on loan from Balzan, spending season 2017/18 on loan with Tarxien Rainbows.

Twenty-seven year old Brazilian centre forward Wilkson played for AE Tiradentes, Caucaica CE, Maranguape CE, CE Uniao and Carapebus in Brazil.

Senglea, who have appointed Mario Muscat as their new coach, have earlier secured the services of Karl Pulo, Marcelo Dias, Manolito Micallef, Andrei Spiteri and goalkeeper Anthony Curmi. Leighton Grech and goalkeeper Matthew Farrugia have agreed new deals with the club while Taisei Marukawa was confirmed for next season.
