Jordy Lokando joins Senglea Athletic

Senglea Athletic secured the services of Belgian central defender/defensive midfielder Jordy Lokando.

The twenty-two year old moved to Malta in January and after a trial period with Gzira United, joined Qormi. He had earlier played for Standard Luttich, KV Mechelen, OH Leuven, KSK Heist and RWD Molenbeek in Belgium.

Senglea, who have appointed Mario Muscat as their new coach, have earlier secured the services of Karl Pulo, Dejan Debono, David Xuereb, Connor Zammit, Sean Cipriott, Brazilians José Wilkson Texeira Rocha and Marcelo Dias, Manolito Micallef, Andrei Spiteri and goalkeeper Anthony Curmi. Leighton Grech and goalkeeper Matthew Farrugia have agreed new deals with the club while Taisei Marukawa was confirmed for next season.
