Senglea Athletic signed Lithuanian central defender Sigitas Olberkis.

The twenty two year old played for Kruoja, Siauliai and FK Panevezys in Lithuania, Dnepr Mogilev in Belarus, Jelgava in Latvia before returning to Lithuania to join Zalgiris.

Senglea, who have appointed Mario Muscat as their new coach, have earlier secured the services of Jan Tanti, Jordy Lokando, Karl Pulo, Dejan Debono, David Xuereb, Connor Zammit, Sean Cipriott, Brazilians José Wilkson Texeira Rocha and Marcelo Dias, Manolito Micallef, Andrei Spiteri and goalkeeper Anthony Curmi. Leighton Grech and goalkeeper Matthew Farrugia have agreed new deals with the club while Taisei Marukawa was confirmed for next season.
