Santa Lucia continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Malta Under-21 international Omar Elouni on loan from Sliema Wanderers.

A product of Sliema Wanderers, twenty year old Elouni made his Premier League for the Blues in season 2015/16.

Santa Lucia have earlier signed Rei Tachikawa, Wilkerson Junnior de Souza Gomes , Kevin Correa, Farid Zuniga, Camilo Del Castillo Escobar, Ignacio David Fideleff, Gabriel Bohrer Mentz, Maycon de Jesús Santana, Daniel Agius, Neil Spiteri and Jacob Walker and extended the contracts of Jackson David Usuga Mendoza and Kevin Duvan Ante Rosero.
