Three new foreigners for Sirens

Newly-promoted Sirens FC secured the services of three new foreign players – Brazilians Flavio dos Santos da Silva Cheveresan, Sergio Raphael Dos Anjos Raphael and Thiago Espindola de Paula.

Thirty year old striker Flavio Carioca has always played in his native Brazil, turning out for Americano, Nova Iguacu, Guarani, Mamore, Velo Clube, Taubate, America, Cuiaba, Anapolina and Campinense.

Twenty six year old defender Sergio Raphael Dos Anjos Raphael had played for Hamrun in season 2016/17. He played for Duque de Caxias, Bangu, CRB, Tigres and Macae in Brazil before joining Hamrun and later played for Juventus in Brazil and Oriente Petrolero in Bolivia.

Like Sergio Raphael, twenty six year old defender Thiaguinho already had a spell in Malta with Hamrun Spartans in season 2017/18. He also played for Tupi FC and Tigres in Brazil.

Sirens, who appointed Steve D’Amato as their new coach, replacing Vince Carbonaro, have earlier signed David Cassar, Adrian Borg, Siraj Arab Eddin, Romeu Pericles Romao and Wellington Oliveira Vieira apart from renewing the contract of Angel Manuel Bustos.
