Mdina Knights came back from two goals down to hold Mtarfa in a 2-2 draw at the Sirens Stadium in one of the four matches in programme on Sunday from the BOV Third Division.

Danjel Grima put Mtarfa ahead on the 11th minute and Gabriel Farrugia doubled the score nine minutes later. However Hans Kristjan Hansberg scored twice on the 41st and 76th to earn a point for the Knights.

In another match, Sta. Venera Lightnings and Gharghur earned a point each in a 1-1 draw. Shamison Farrugia put the Lightnings ahead but in the second half, Allan Fernandes Moreira equalised for Gharghur.

At the Luxol Stadium, Msida St. Joseph and Kirkop United shared the spoils in a goalless draw while in another match, Siggiewi defeated Ta’ Xbiex 2-1. Matthew Spiteri converted a penalty to put Siggiewi ahead on the 27th minute and although Matthew Fenech equalised on the 48th, Ronnie Celeste notched the winner on the 57th.
