Mgarr United registered their third win on the trot as they beat Zabbar St. Patrick 2-0 in one of the two BOV Second Division matches in programme at the Centenary Stadium on Thursday.

Lyden Micallef put Mgarr ahead on the 42nd and ten minutes in the second half, Kenneth Aquilina doubled the score.

Meanwhile Birzebbuga St. Peter’s registered their first win as they beat Xghajra Tornados 4-0.

Andrea Sant gave Birzebbuga the lead on the 24th minute. Luke Zahra doubled the score four minute in the second half and Andrea Sant scored another two goals on the 60th and 62nd to increase the lead further.

Marsa lead the way with 11 points, followed by Mgarr and Melita on 10, Marsaxlokk 9, Rabat 8, Zurrieq 7, San Gwann and Kalkara 6, Birzebbuga, Mellieha and Xghajra 5, Zabbar 3 and Luqa 1.
