A goal by Nicholas Scicluna two minutes from the end of the first half handed Ta’ Xbiex their first points this season as they defeated Sta. Venera Lightnings 1-0 in one of the two BOV Third Division matches in programme at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

Marsaskala and Msida St. Joseph shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Ciro Quaranta opened the score for Msida on the 76th minute but Joseph Chetcuti equalised eight minutes from time.
