Gzira United Football Club and head coach Giovanni Tedesco have mutually agreed to part ways.
Tedesco had joined the Maroons from Hamrun Spartans last summer. Under his leadership, Gzira eliminated Croatian giants Hajduk Split but they were then eliminated by Ventspils of Lithuania.
However their Premier League campaign started off with four successive draws and despite a good run, they lost two out of the last three matches. They are currently fourth, six point behind leaders Floriana.
