Siggiewi and Kirkop United registered wins in the BOV Third Division at the Sirens Stadium on Saturday.

A goal by Ayrton Buhagiar on the 75th and a brace by Abeeb Abiodun Williams on the 89th and 95th handed Kirkop United a fine 3-0 win over Ghaxaq.

On the other hand, Siggiewi came back from two goals down to defeat Sta. Venera Lightnings 4-2.

The Lightnings went two goals ahead thanks to goals by Johann Zarb on the half-hour and John Paul Galea four minutes later. However goals by Gilbert Camilleri on the hour and Leider Manuel Canate Vega eight minutes later restored equilibrium. Gilbert Camilleri made it 3-2 on the 79th and Eman Ciappara sealed the issue with another goal four minutes from time.

Attard lead the way with 28 points, followed by Siggiewi on 26, Kirkop 25, Gharghur and Msida 22, Ghaxaq 21, Dingli 17, Marsaskala 12, Mdina 11, Mtarfa 10, Sta. Venera 6 and Ta’ Xbiex 4.
