Alfonso Greco is no longer the coach of Sliema Wanderers after the two parties agreed to terminate his contract.
Sliema lost 0-1 to Gudja United during the weekend which leaves the Wanderers third from bottom.
Greco had started his second spell as coach of Sliema Wanderers last summer.
He moved to Malta in August 2012 when he was appointed coach of Sliema Wanderers. In his first season with the Blues, the Italian coach led the team to joint-third place in the BOV Premier League while in season 2013/14, Sliema placed fifth but finished as losing finalists in the U*BET FA Trophy.
In October 2014, he was sacked by Sliema but a few weeks later, he joined Zebbug Rangers. The following season, he moved back to Italy where he led AS Ostiamare Lido.
