Dingli Swallows extended their unbeaten run to eight matches in the BOV Third Division as they defeated Ghaxaq 1-0 at the Sirens Stadium on Saturday.

Gianluca Theuma scored the all-important goal on the 28th minute.

In another match, Marsaskala beat Mtarfa 2-1, early goals by Margeith Scicluna and Adrian Bonavia for Marsaskala and a late penalty by Ikechukwu Igwemeke for Mtarfa.

Attard lead the way with 31 points, followed by Siggiewi on 29, Gharghur 28, Kirkop 26, Msida 25, Dingli and Ghaxaq 24, Marsaskala 21, Mdina 11, Mtarfa 10, Sta. Venera 6 and Ta’ Xbiex 4.
