Mark Miller no longer Mosta FC coach

Mosta FC announced that coach Mark Miller and the club reached a mutual agreement over the termination of his contract. He had been serving as Mosta coach since November 2018.

Miller started his coaching career as player-coach with Sliema Wanderers and then Floriana before being appointed coach of Hibernians in 1996 where he served until 1999. He joined the MFA technical sector in 2000 where he coached the Under-17 and Under-19 sides before being appointed Malta Under-21 coach.

In summer 2008, Miller returned with Hibernians but left the club in summer 2012 to join Valletta where he spent two years. He joined Qormi in February 2015 on a short term contract until the end of the season. Miller returned with Hibernians in summer 2016 where he spent until March 2018 when he was sacked.

Meanwhile Mosta FC announced that they have secured the services of Rabat Ajax striker Larens Vella.

Despite the fact that he is still eighteen years old, Vella has been playing regularly for the Magpies in the past two years in Division 2 after breaking into the first team when the club was still in Division 1 in 2017/18.
