Balzan FC appoint Mark Miller as their new coach

Mark Miller is the new coach of Balzan FC after agreeing a two-year deal with the club.

Balzan had started last season under the guidance of Jacques Scerri who had led the club to a historic triumph in the FA Trophy in 2018/19 but in the beginning of March, just over a week before the league was suspended, he stepped down and was replaced by Alejandro Pantoja and Academy Head Coach Ludvic Bartolo for the next game.

Mark Miller started his coaching career as player-coach with Sliema Wanderers and Floriana before being appointed coach of Hibernians in 1996 where he served until 1999. He joined the MFA technical sector in 2000 where he coached the Under-17 and Under-19 sides before being appointed Malta Under-21 coach.

In summer 2008, Miller returned with Hibernians but left the club in summer 2012 to join Valletta where he spent two years. He joined Qormi in February 2015 on a short term contract until the end of the season. Miller returned with Hibernians in summer 2016 where he spent until March 2018 when he was sacked. He joined Mosta in November 2018.

Miller will be assisted by Joe Grech, also his assistant at Mosta.
