Mosta FC continued to strengthen their squad with the signings of Under-21 internationals Dejan Debono and Andrei Spiteri.
Nineteen year old Dejan Debono is a product of St. Andrews with whom he made his Premier League debut in season 2018/19. Last season, he moved to Senglea Athletic where despite his age, he soon established himself as a key player in the rear-guard.
On the other hand, twenty-year old striker Andrei Spiteri started his career with Hibernians but had spells abroad with ASD Katane in Italy and Leganes in Spain. He moved back to Malta to join the Paolites in January 2019 but last summer moved to Senglea Athletic. In the January transfer window, he joined Mqabba on loan in Division 1.
Mosta FC had earlier signed Clayton Failla, Johann Bezzina and Larens Vella. Mario Muscat was appointed as technical director and Davor Filipovic as coach.
